Can’t See the Forest for the Tree

Using the familiar English saying, Can’t See the Forest for the Tree is an intervention into public space that plays with perception and notions of representation. Placing a drawn representation of a pine tree in an evergreen forest, we are faced with a new context and are asked what is “real.”
